Camas a’ Charraig

An oasis
On a quiet coast
A place of beauty
Its proud boast

Turquoise water
Shallow and clear
Silver sands
Draws people near

On the surface
Goosanders swim
Near cormorants
Diving in

Sea shells sparkle
In the sun
While the tide
Is on the turn

On the horizon
Suilven stands
With Stac Pollaidh
In mountain lands

In the air
Seagulls glide
And the sun shines
With some pride

If you go there
Stand quite still
Let the wonder
Be your fill
